AN AMAZING STAINED GLASS WINDOW
This beautiful old window has outlived its original frame and is now resplendent
in a simple unfinished pine picture frame for display and shipping purposes.
It was removed from a house in Yorkshire during refurbishement. The glass
has no chips or scratches. The leading is in exellent condition.
The colours in this glass are exceptional. The frame measures 13 "W x16"H
(33 x 41cm). The glass measures 10 x 13" (26cm x 31cm)
This design is very
typical of art deco form and dates from from around 1928. The ruling monarch
in England during most of the art deco period was George V

It is characterised by its clean simple lines often using geometric shapes and designs. Stained glass windows of this period are often incorrectly described as antique. These windows however can often atract high prices and are a very poular addition to period homes.
